Mindpy Pricing & Fees

Specialist psychotherapy and sexology services designed for deep, lasting change.
In my practice, we move beyond standard "talk therapy" to address the neurobiological roots of how you feel and connect. Because deep, transformative work cannot be rushed, I utilize extended session times to ensure we achieve meaningful progress without cutting the process short.

First Session Section

My initial consultations for individuals are 90 minutes ($330). This extended time allows us to move beyond a simple history-taking exercise and perform a 'Trial of Therapy.' We will identify the unconscious barriers holding you back and establish a neurobiological roadmap for your treatment, ensuring that when you leave the first session, you already have a deeper understanding of your internal process.

Value Explanation Section

Most standard therapy in Australia consists of a 50-minute “clinical hour.” By choosing 75, 90, or 120-minute sessions, you are investing in a higher efficiency of care.

PACT is a “pro-relationship” modality that works in real time. A 90-minute session allows us to recreate interactions and regulate nervous system responses—work that is often physically impossible to complete in a shorter format.

The 120-minute deep work session is ideal for initial PACT assessments or high-intensity ISTDP breakthroughs. This format provides the time needed to reach meaningful insights and ensure you leave the session feeling grounded and integrated.

Frequently asked questions

Why are PACT sessions 90 or 120 minutes?

PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) is designed to help couples manage each other’s nervous systems. In a 90-minute session, we have the time to slow down a conflict as it happens, look at the biological signals, and practice new ways of responding. 120-minute sessions are often used for "deep-dive" intakes or when couples are traveling from outside Newcastle for intensive work.

What if I don’t think I can do 120 minutes?

The intensity of Advanced ISTDP and PACT is specifically designed to work with your tolerance. We monitor your arousal levels constantly. Most clients find that 90 or 120 minutes passes quickly because the work is highly active and focused, rather than just passive talking.

What is your cancellation policy?

To maintain this specialist model, I reserve significant time for your sessions. This time is dedicated exclusively to your progress. Because these longer time slots are difficult to fill at short notice, the following policy applies:

  • 24 - 48 Hours’ Notice:Cancellations made within this window will incur 50% of the session fee.
  • Less than 24 Hours / No-Show:The 100% full session fee

Please note: Medicare and Private Health funds do not provide rebates for cancelled or missed appointments.

How do payments and rebates work?
  • Payment:Required in full at the conclusion of the session via EFTPOS or stored credit card.
  • Medicare:As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I can process your rebate on-site for overnight reimbursement to your nominated bank account.
  • Private Health:We provide formal receipts for you to claim directly with your fund under extras.
