Akivra Bouris

Akivra has enjoyed a long career as a therapist specialising in both relationships counselling (couples and families) and mental health practice for both adults and adolescents.  She has taught Couple and Family Therapy at tertiary level in both Masters and Undergraduate programmes, is published in this field and has also supervised many relationships’ counsellors and continues to do so.  She has also worked as an EAP counsellor, has over 10 years of service management experience and enjoys working with people dealing with work place related issues.

Akivra has trained in EMIT (Eye Movement Integration Therapy) and utilises this when working with clients who have experienced trauma in childhood and as adults.
